NCH Volunteers Raise $40,000
For Hospital Programs

Novato Community Hospital volunteers raised $40,000 for various hospital programs in 2005. They also pledged to raise $80,000 over two years to help buy a digital mammography system for the hospital.
The results were announced during National Volunteer Week, April 23 through 29.
The volunteers also awarded $5,700 in scholarships to seven employees and volunteers. NCH’s 70 volunteers donated more than 9,500 hours.
Kathy Meyer, director of volunteers at NCH, said, “We are so proud to continue to support both hospitals with our service and the funds we raise.
