NCH Opens Third OR For
Minimally Invasive Surgeries

Novato Community Hospital’s new minimally invasive surgical suite is open for business.
Among the procedures that are performed there are orthopedic, gynecologic, gastro-intestinal, urologic, and ear, nose and throat surgeries.
Minimally invasive surgeries involve small incisions, cause less pain, heal faster and reduce the length of stay in the hospital.
The high tech operating room is being financed by community donations. An anonymous donor pledged $600,000 toward the $1.25 million suite and put up another $200,000 that NCH matched with community donations. Another $250,000 needs to be raised.
