Novato Care Center Offers Primary and Specialty Medical Care
Physician Foundation at California Pacific Medical Center (PFCPMC) announced today the opening of its Novato care center, located at 101 Rowland Way. This location will house both primary and specialty care physicians in a large, newly renovated clinic space adjacent to Novato Community Hospital.
Internist and pediatrician Tareq Elquosy, M.D. is currently practicing in the Novato care center. He will be joined by additional primary care physicians and specialists in neurology, hepatology and liver transplant, pediatric gastroenterology, pediatric hematology/oncology, pediatric neurology, and high-risk obstetrics.
"Part of our mission as a medical group is to bring more primary care to communities where there is a need and to make health care more accessible by bringing our specialists to these local communities," says Morris Flaum, M.D., MBA, chief executive officer of Physician Foundation at California Pacific Medical Center. " This Novato care center helps deliver on that promise, as do our other twenty clinic sites throughout Northern California and Nevada."
The Novato care features 16 exam rooms so physicians can see multiple patients. The site also features an on-site lab, making blood draws and lab work more convenient. This fall the Foundation will roll out an electronic health record system, enabling enhanced efficiency for both patients and doctors. Patients also benefit from the clinic’s easily accessible location off of Highway 101 and ample parking.
