Kettmann Joins MGH & NCH Boards Of Directors

Cyndi Kettmann, Sutter Health Senior Vice President-Public Affairs, has joined the Boards of Directors at Marin General Hospital and Novato Community Hospital.

Kettmann succeeds Patrick Fry, who was recently named president and chief executive officer of Sutter Health, one of California’s largest not-for-profit, integrated healthcare delivery systems.

As senior vice president, Kettmann is responsible for all local, state and federal government relations activities and serves as the chief consultant to the system executives on matters concerning public policy issues and strategic positioning.

She is responsible for the development and implementation of the system wide legislative strategic plan and seeks to ensure that the system maintains its competitive positions by ensuring the modification, passage and/or defeat of local, state and federal legislation.

Kettmann is also responsible for internal and external communications, marketing and advertising and system-wide coordination on leadership for community benefit.

Prior to joining Sutter in 1991, she served as a long-time aide to the late Congressman Robert Matsui for nearly 10 years in both Washington, DC and in Sacramento. Kettmann served as the congressman’s Legislative Director, managing the legislative agenda in Washington and served as District Director for the California office, directing all political and public affairs operations.

She lives in the Sacramento area.
